CD34 also called Sialomucin is a cell surface marker that is present mainly in hematopoeitic stem cells in the bone marrow and aids in cell migration and cell-cell adhesion.
yes they do ask questions about CD markers and these questions are almost always straight, to the point, short stem questions. in my step 1 exam i got three questions regarding CD markers of whch two i knew , and the third one i had never heard of :notsure:
