I am currently preparing for step 3. I've got good scores in all steps. I've done 2 months of hands on USCE including one month at Harvard and I am going to do one more month of externship with a private practitioner.
Do I need to look for observerships after this.
Besides obtaining extensive Hands on Clinical Experience here in the United States, another way to really add to your Curriculum Vitae would be to become involved in your community, or to become a member of a medical organization. If you don’t mind me asking, what is the purpose of you taking Step 3 at the moment? Is this due to a change of Visa status?
The problem is that if you don't do that observership what are you going to do? If you are going to sit at home then definitely doing that observership is better
