Which one of the following statements correctly describes the synthesis
of mammalian messenger RNA (mRNA)?
a. Each mRNA often encodes several different proteins b. Several different genes may produce identical mRNA molecules c. There is colinearity of the RNA sequence transcribed from a gene and the amino acid sequence of its encoded protein d. The RNA sequence transcribed from a gene is virtually identical to the mRNA that exits from nucleus to cytoplasm
e. Mammalian mRNA undergoes minimal modification during its maturation
a. Each mRNA often encodes several different proteins = NO
b. Several different genes may produce identical mRNA molecules = NO c. There is colinearity of the RNA sequence transcribed from a gene and the amino acid sequence of its encoded protein = I guess so! ))
d. The RNA sequence transcribed from a gene is virtually identical to the mRNA that exits from nucleus to cytoplasm = NO
e. Mammalian mRNA undergoes minimal modification during its maturation = NO
gotta be C ruling out all other options and after trimming the mRNA with spliceosomes in the nucleus and get translated in cytoplasm there is colinearity i guess

The answer is( b )according to pre test series however i feel it should be( a )as in eukaryotes the mRNA are monocistronic not polycistronic. Please comment and explain !:notsure:
Eukaryotes are monocistronic...idk i feel it should be A not sure tho .
