Any idea if we apply to both advanced and categorical at the same program does it count as 1 or 2 programs? (fee wise)

Good Luck everyone!
"Thank you for your interest in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. I just wanted to confirm that we have received your ERAS application. We will be starting the interview selection process in mid October, once deans letters and transcripts are released. At that point, we will communicate ONLY with those applicants who are selected for interviews."
Will it be difficult to get the match without experience as anesthetist in my country and without research or publications as many of you ? Will it be difficult to get the match with excelents results in the Steps (maybe above 235-245 I think), a couple of month of USCE and a couple of LORs? I plan to prepare to apply in 2015. Thaks a lot!!
I don't know if their anesth program sponsors visa, but for Ob/Gyn program, they sponsor their residents. I don't know if the individual dept has different regulations or if pertains to the entire hospital.
Everyone else from IM/surg/family is getting interviews and I'm sitting here like. Doesn't help I'm still waiting for my anesthesia eval to be submitted so it can show up on my transcript!!!! #FreakingOut
Applied all over 100+ anes programs. Same Acks from Mass Gen and Mt Sinai. Nothing else. Just waiting.
