Default Kaplan Lecture Notes Two Versions

There's two different sets of Kaplan Lecture Notes
First is the home study program (4 volumes) that is officially sold by Kaplan
and here's the link
KAPLAN - Books & Software:
Note these four volumes are not subject wise they are system wise and the information is significantly different from the course lecture notes. It includes more information in certain areas for example coagulation system and coagulation cascades, histology tissue types, ...etc things that are not seen in the lecture notes. However these volumes are less popular among students because of the high price and more pages with less high yield focus.

Second, is the Kaplan Lecture Notes that are supplied to course subscribers, these books come in subject wise 7 books (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, and Behavior). These books are not sold stand-alone from Kaplan and you have to be course subscriber. They are the most popular among students since it's subject focused and very high yield.
However you can find many people selling used and even new lecture notes on Amazon.

If your medical school in US
Then the systems approach is the best way to go
So I voted for the systems 4 volumes not the disciplines

By the way the Kaplan Home study 4 volumes contain more info than those smaller 7 books
I checked that page by page
If you're a medical student in US I strongly advise to go with them

Default No more home study program

It's seems they are abadoning the Home Study Program as they used the Lecture Notes in their new iPhone application as mentioned in this post
Kaplan USMLE Step 1 Qbank is now on the iPhone!

There's no doubt about it the lecture notes are far better than the home study program
