Default Best Pathology Book for the USMLE step 1

In this thread we vote for the Best Pathology Review Book for the USMLE step 1.
Unlike the best comprehensive review books for USMLE Step 1, you can choose only one option here as it's unlikely you relied on more than one book in your preparation.
If you know of other books that are useful for Pathology preparation for the USMLE step 1 please post your reply and we'll add it to the poll options.

If you can get your hands on it.....

Goljian General & Systemic notes (the photocopied PDF ones) and his audio.

I know he has written a book and all....but from what i can see...this old stuff is GOLD! Also, path is one of those subjects that doesnt change. No new medications to memorize...etc.

If you can get your hands on these notes and some of his high yields a large part of your exam is covered.

Has anyone have any experience yet in Goljan Rapid Review 3rd edition? Which I suppose should be out this year?

Ahh its out. Do you guys happen to know how is it different from the 2nd edition Rapid Review? More high-yield facts? More pictures? Clinical cases?

Default Goljan

Does Goljan have enough pictures and slides than BRS? I'm really aiming for a the high percentile since I have ample time on my hands. Is kaplan good enough for all the subjects or is it counter productive to supplement it with another book for the subject? I'm really new to this forum so I'm looking for advise on reviewer/book list that really gives a very high yield and high probability with a goal on the top percentile.passing doesn't cut it for me.I have myself and my family to please.

Goljan has more pics than BRS.
There's no harm in supplementing your Kaplan notes with RR Goljan.
God bless you and your family

Many students prefer to supplement Kaplan's pathology with another resource as it feels inadequate.
See this thread/poll
Is Kaplan Pathology Notes Enough?

The most commonly added resource is either BRS (among US students) or Goljan RR (among IMGs)
