Best Physiology Book For USMLE Step 1

Unlike the best comprehensive review books for USMLE Step 1, you can choose only one option here as it's unlikely you relied on more than one book in your preparation.

They are saying that BRS cases and problems are better than the original BRS but I don't know I didn't read it

For physiology guyton's is good along with BRS Physiology, and the Physiology in the Kaplan med essentials is also a good book

I would say, use kaplan lecture notes and videos as your base.Then for topics that are kinda lacking in kaplan, use BRS. The topics that are said to be weak in kaplan physiology are the endocrine ones, especially male and female reproduction.

Just my 2 cents.

Isn't there two different BRS physio books, one just Costanazo and the other BRS...could someone post a link of which one rated high.

There are two BRS Physiology Books both of them by Linda Costanza and both them are mentioned above in the poll and linked to their Amazon page.

I am using Physiology only by Linda S Costanzo .. I have read some very good reviews about it and i am liking the book pretty much although i kinoff just started using it . I know people who have used it as their main Physiology book and were pretty satisfied . Even i would love to hear from somebody who finished the book .

Oh yes, I used Costanzo book for my prep. It's a great easy to read and to understand book and you don't need any other book for physio prep. Trust me

I did not include Kaplan Physiology Notes because it's not a stand-alone physiology book, it's part of the series of the Kaplan USMLE Step 1 Notes which has been polled in the best USMLE Step 1 review books.
