Question ECFMG Eligibility Period in 2012

Hello everyone!!

Hope you all are doing good!!

Can I apply for step-1 exam with an eligibility period of december2011,Jan 2012,Feb 2012 now? (The application form does not seem to show the options for the year 2012 yet ). If not then what will be the appropriate time?

Can I please know whether I need to pay if I apply for Oct, Nov, Dec 2011 month eligibility period now and extend it to Jan, Feb, March 2012 ...??

Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated!!!!

I think you cannot apply for dec-feb now. You'll have to wait till oct to open eligibility for jan feb and so on. Right now if you try to register you will only see eligibilty till dec 2011. Hope that helps.

Registering for an eligibility period that starts later than October 2011 would have to wait until August 2011 (when the 2012 ECFMG booklet is produced).
