Ukraine Ukraine Medical Graduate Credentials Question

Hello! First of all thank you to everyone for useful information! I am now preparing for Step 1. I graduated from Ukrainian University 2 years ago. I have question about credentials that are needed for USMLE. Does anybody know how to check if my diploma consists of all required subjects? Very appreciated for your help!

Hi ksjushaal,

The diploma has no requirements. It's just that hard paper with your medical school logo that mentions that you graduated on this and this and has received the MBBS or MBChB or whatever and signed by the graduation committee. Of course you have to translate it if it is not in English.

If you mean the transcript (which includes the marks and the number of hours that you have done in each subject) then again there is no special requirements for that. Any medical school that is accredited by IMED then it's accepted by ECFMG.

To check whether your school is recognized by IMED go to this page
