Registration Our records show that you are not registered for CS!

Hi everyone,

I just got my score for Step 1 and am trying to apply for CK and CS. I paid for CS today and the transaction can be seen in OASIS. But when I try to schedule my exam, a message overhead reads "Our records show that you are not registered for CS".

I was a medical student when I gave my step 1. Now I am a graduate. Is it because I haven't sent the diploma certificate to ECFMG yet that I can't take a date for CS. Isn't the online application enough to get me a date? I am just worried because by the time I send the mail with my diploma certificate photocopy, I might lose the date I want which is in May and running out quickly.

Can anyone help me with this? I would be very grateful. Thank you.

Thanks.
I just got an e-mail confirmation saying that the online form has been received and they have also said that it will take 2-3 weeks to process the application. This means I will only be able to take the test date after 2-3 weeks and I think I will surely miss out on taking the exam prior to May 20 like I want as all the seats in May will be filled out by that time. So disappointed

Thank you for this information. I will take the latest possible date once I get the permit and check on it regularly if I find any openings on a later date. Thanks for your patience. You've been very kind.
