A small hyphen/dash in the name is not considered a problem.

ECFMG has specifically mentioned that they tolerate such minor differences.

So you don't need to change your name.

Hi
I've just coincidentally noticed that my name in the passport is Alomari and my name in the medical diploma is Al omari. Should i be worried about such a mistake. I'm sending my envelop tomorrow tp the ecfmg, should i send a copy of my passport?
