Registration ECFMG Application for Certification Complete; What's next?

I am a newbie for this forum. I read lot of threads in this forum regarding registration with ecfmg. then I started to do it as explained.but still I am soooo confused.

I got my Id & pw. then started with the IWA online application. When finishing it asked me to pay $50 and I had done that too. after that I got email mentioning;

<We are pleased to confirm that your Application for ECFMG Certification has been completed and received by ECFMG. A summary of your Application for ECFMG Certification can be accessed using the On-Line Applicant Status and Information System (OASIS), available from the ECFMG website at www.ecfmg.org. You may now proceed with the Interactive Web Applications (IWA) for the USMLE examination(s).>

What should I do next??? Plz I am confused..I read in ur threads that I need to fill forms 344,345, 183/ 186. and also mentioned that I will get these forms at the end of online application. but I did not get them. where and when i can get those forms which u mentioned???I only got form 187.

Please I really need ur help......:sorry:

Go to IWA and apply for the exam.

Answer their questions one by one.

Pay the Exam fees.

They will then tell you which forms you have to fill.

The first question they will ask you when applying for step 1 is your 3-month eligibility period, the 3-month period wherein you plan to take the exam.

But for the actual date of the exam, you won't be required to specify that yet.

2013 eligibility periods will be available in September. You can either wait until then or choose Oct-Nov-Dec 2012 eligibility and then extend it later on to Jan-Feb-Mar 2013 eligibility (of course you have to pay fees later).
You have only these two options, no other option.

Thank you sabio, but if want to send all the forms and be ready just to choose my eligibility period time, and not wast time doing all of these forms by that time ( september) can I do these forms now or should I wait to do all of these forms on september?

thank you

As I told you in my previous post, you have only those two options.
You cannot get the forms unless you choose your eligibility period which should be in 2012 if you are registering before September 2012.

Search I had a quick question..

Could somebody tell me if one can get a -- dec'12 - jan'13 - feb'13 -- eligibility period after sep 2012? Can months from adjacent years like this example be tied together in a 3 month eligibility period?

Thanks.

I was quite apprehensive on this one. To make myself absolutely clear, is this possible only after september, when months of next year become available for eligibility? And I think same should be true for Dec-Jan-Feb as was for Nov-Dec-Jan. Further I see one pitfall in this approach: in such eligibility periods, won't it be hard to find a place in Nov/Dec when applying in Sept because of proximity?
