Notary Public only signed on the attached certificate for Form 186
Today I got the Form 186 notarized. However, I am concerned about the signature of notary public. He insisted that he only can put his signature on the attached page, but not on the Form 186. He told me this is the new thing for this kind of Certification of identification. Do your guys have the similar experience? Will ECFMG accept this?
The note in the attached page said: "A notary public completing this certificate verifies only the identity of the individual who signed the document to this certificate is attached, and not the truthfulness, accuracy, or validity of that document."
