hello,
i got all my documents attested and mailed by the university on 23rd april. but till date they have not reached ecfmg office. i contacted the uni and they say that they have posted. now what went wrong?
Did your school send them via regular mail or companies like FedEx, DHL?
With the second option you can track the package and with FedEx I always even get the name of the person who signed the confirmation that they received the package. So when you call ECFMG you can give them the name and they can check it.
Then ask the person who was sending it at your school and if it was indeed regular mail ask them to resend it.
When are you planning to take your exam?
i am in india and my university is in belarus. so i need to resend the documents? that will be difficult as the pro rector who attest the documents is on vacation
i am planning to give in sept, oct and nov timeline.
can i give even if the documents havn't reached?
You can wait few more weeks, maybe the delivery is just delayed but...
but if it got lost in the mail or something what else can you do other than resend it...?
my honest advice,
pay your school extra-cash to re-send the papers via DHL, FEDEX or aramex....so u can have tracking number....regular mail sucks and it takes ages......
i guess ill wait. same problem with the holiday period ( july and august). is there a deadline for my 186 to reach? yeah they sent it thro regular mail. since belarus and russia follow almost the same protocols in most things i think mine will arrive too!!!! too stressed and not able to read!
Can I send via speedpost.. They say it ll reach by 10-12 days..
Or FedEx reaches in 5-6days but costly..
I'm applying for October -December eligibility period.. Owing to slow processing at my med school they'll be able to send in 5-6 days..
Help!! I don't want the scheduling to be delayed!!!
