Question Validity of Application for ECFMG Certification

Hi,

Can anyone say if applied for the above certificate, is there a time limit for writing my USMLE exams?
Certification application valid for how many years?

Regards,

Spring

Default

It typically remains valid throughout the certification process, there's no set time for it.

Default Do we need to give an eligibilty period during the Application of ECFMG Certification?

If I am planning on applying for the Application for ECFMG do I need to select an eligibility period for the step 1 exam while filling out this application or can I do it later when I start to apply for the step 1 exam? Im enquiring because I dont have a particular 3-month eligibility period in mind right now but I want to get the paperwork out of the way at least.
