Default Applying for Step 1

If I choose the eligibility period between Jan 1 - Mar 30, will I be able to pick my date (I want to take it mid-feb) or will it automatically choose my date for me? Thank you.

You can pick a date. After the application is processed, you will be issued a scheduling permit and using that you can book a slot in prometric.
