Nigeria payments method from Nigeria

I am finding it difficult to add funds to my ECFMG acc. The Debit card issued by my bank(GTbank) declined payment simply because the website is not designed to request CVV2 while carrying out transaction. Pls can anyone recommend a bank in Nigeria, type of card(credit or debit), type of acc to use in Nigeria that do not have the encumberances of CVV2. Thanks

Hi owobi, I successfully paid for paid for my 'APPLICATION FOR ECFMG CERTIFICATION' using my Naira MasterCard a month ago. Are you still having problems?

Any NMGs in the house who have surmounted this payment challenge should please share. I've heard of GTBank's dollar-denominated Visa Card. I don't know if it solves the problem of CVV.

Call ECFMG and try to make the payment via phone. I don't know if this will work though. Try it and post what happenes with you here.

Maybe its cos you're trying to add funds to your account. It might be a better idea to just make payments when you need to. Thats what i do, paid for ecfmg cert with gtb mastercard and it worked fine.

I'm not from Nigeria, but I have the same CVV problem.
I tried to put funds into my ECFMG account today but it was declined. Interestingly, that's the same Visa I used to register for the exam 7 months ago and it worked perfectly, but I didn't put funds into my account, rather I paid after I made my 186 form. Your theory may be right! We need someone to test it.

Hey guys, how did it go ? Did you try to pay for the exam after the application rather than adding funds to the account ?
