Arrow You don't need to certify the translation

No you don't need to certify the translation document.

The translator should mention that your original document is certified by the foreign affairs department and that's it, that would be enough for the ECFMG.

So what you will send to the ECFMG is the following.

Copy of your original Arabic Diploma + Translation document stapled to it.

Just make sure that the translator mention the name of the company and the name of the translator and he/she should be certified authorized translator.

Another issue, is to make sure that your name is matching between the Diploma translation, the medical school transcript, and all the other documents that you are going to be using with the ECFMG.

my translation contain 2 paper stapled together (arabic and english)

so in the booklet they mention I must send 2 photo copies of my diploma:
1) is that means 2 translation diploma (the one contain Arabic and English) and by the way my translation diploma is certified by Foreign Affairs
And no need to send another 2 copies of the Arabic diploma??????
2) my original diploma (Arabic) is certified by Foreign Affair and when I will do a copy of it do I need to certify the copy by Foreign Affairs??????

thanks for reply but i am really confused

Default Further explanation

You should follow these steps:
  1. Your original Diploma must be certified by the foreign affairs.
  2. You send the original copy to the translator.
  3. The translator translates it and mention that it's certified by the foreign affairs.
  4. The translator make a copy of the original diploma.
  5. The translator stamp over the copy that it's "True Copy of Original".
  6. The translator staple together his translation and the copy of the diploma and send it back to you.
  7. You then send the translation+copy of diploma(stamped true copy of original) to ECFMG.
If they want two copies then you must do the process twice "the translation" and send them to ECFMG

-You don't need to send the original diploma to ECFMG
-You don't need a foreign affairs stamp over the translation or over the copy.
