Hello guys, I'm new to the forum but I am a frequent reader of most of the posts. I have a problem and I hope someone can help me. I have been approved by the ECFMG and I have my validity period and everything but my application was rejected on Thursday because I transferred credits from an IMED unlisted school to my present school. I spoke to someone from the office and she told me reapply and plead my case in a letter which I did and faxed to her on Friday. Thing is, I don't see how they can prevent me from EVER writing the exams because my old school will ALWAYS be in my records. Plus, as I said in the letter, ALL my basic classes were completed in my present school, the classes transferred were general classes required to get into Med school back home, not any actual med school class. I also told them that rejecting me again would be basically cutting a dream short because that's is how I honestly feel and I don't think it's right, if I'm qualified to take the exam, what has my former school got to do with anything? I felt sad for a day but I'm over it, whatever God wants to happen will happen. I'm still studying but as you can imagine, their rejection took something away from me. Whatever happens, I'll try my best. Has anyone encountered this sort of problem before?
