Unhappy Different Middle Names

Hello everyone

I want to register at ECFMG but i have a problem

The name on my certificate has 6 names
eg. Ahmad Mohie Name Name Name Salem

But the name on my passport Can ONLY include 4 names
so it would be: Ahmad Mohie Name Salem (Salem is my last name)

Changing the name on my certificate would be very exhausting and time consuming as the university has many problems with issues like that (i don't know if it is even possible)

My question: Will this pose a problem for me and what options do i have to fix this ?

With which name should i register on ECFMG: the one on my passport or the one on my certificate ?

NB. i haven't registered at ecfmg yet and didn't get my id number

please help ... thx for your time

I would suggest you try your best to change either the Passport or the med school papers to make them match with each other.

If you could not do that, then your dean should send a letter to the ECFMG stating that you are the same person (Passport name and Certificate name).

When you register, I suggest you register with the certificate name rather than the passport name, reason is that the certificate name has more names in it and the ECFMG might be OK in "dropping" middle names but they'll for sure reject adding middle names.
