Registration Application for USMLE

Hi fellow step takers

Right to the point.
I applied for the USMLE as a student for the period of Nov-Jan and then extended the period Feb-April. Now, I wasn't ready to present the exam. Now, I've graduated and I want to give the exam. What am I supposed to do?
Do I..
1. Need to get a new USMLE ID?
2. Need to file a new 186?
3. I have no idea.

Please guide me in this journey.

Hi,

You do not need a new ECFMG ID (I'm assuming that's what you mean when you say USMLE ID) and if your form 186 is valid then I'm pretty sure you do not need to send it again. There are other forms which you may need to send (344,345 etc) but I don't know much about that, and I'm sure the graduates on this forum will be more than able to help you on that matter

Thanks for the reply, that was one of my major doubts, if I needed a new ECFMG ID (thanks for correcting me). As you can see i'm kinda lost. But you're reply is a great start to clear my doubts. I hope the rest of the forum members can finish clearing the air on the other aspects.
