Question How can I get a new school official, representing my school at ECFMG?

Hello everyone, we have only one official at school and he is on a long vacation ! I wanted to know about the process of asking for another school official, what should I do?
Thanks.

I contacted the ECFMG, they told me each school has to creat a letter with the name(s) of the new officials, their titles and signatures. The letter is like a request and states that these names are authorized by school to sign applications for the ECFMG. It also should include the school address, contact informations and the official stamp. The letter is to be sent the same way form 186 is usually sent, in a stamped closed envolop, sent directly from the Dean or Official office.

thanks a lot tallwal

I have a asked an administrative official at my school to send such a letter to ECFMG since our dean has changed. But he said he needs the name or designation of the person at ECFMG to whom the letter is to be addressed. Can you help me with that? Who should the letter be addressed to?

no need to address it to a specific person, "Dear ECFMG" would work. This is what one of my friends have his school do when they needed a new official and it was accepted by the ECFMG.

Once again, thanks tallwall

I was just checking the "Contact ECFMG" section of their website and they have a slightly different address for each of their services. Which one should it be sent to for this purpose? EICS (ECFMG International Credentials Services), CVS (Certificiation Verification Services) or just be safe and send it to General Inquires?

most welcome I'll answer based on my friend's experience and it worked ! he sent the papers to the regular mailing address that we usually send Form 186 to.
