Form Send ECFMG Forms now or later when I graduate?

Actually I am still a student till March as am doing my internship.

I thought I'll fill the form after end of March and apply for June July dates but now I am thinking to apply right now in advance.

I am confused is if I apply right now as a student do I need to send some other documents etc to ECFMG after I am a graduate before my exam or there no need and if I fill my form as a graduate I am confused what this mean.

If you are a graduate of a medical school that participates in EMSWP and your medical education credentials have not been primary-source verified by ECFMG, ECFMG cannot complete the processing of your application until your medical school verifies your status through EMSWP. ECFMG will make your record available to your medical school and request verification typically within three weeks of receipt of a complete application. The time needed to complete the processing of your application is contingent upon your medical school’s response to the EMSWP verification request. You will not be registered for examination until your medical school verifies your status.

and is it safe to fill 2 to 3 month before exam kindly someone help me

If you want to apply for June-July-August eligibility period and you will be a graduate on March 2011, then I suggest you wait until you graduate and then start applying to avoid doubling the headaches of ECFMG registration.

Default Explaining further

If you apply now (as medical student) you have to send documents and wait for school verification ...etc and then again you have to repeat the process in March sending the ECFMG your medical school transcript, Diploma, change of status, signing form 186 instead of form 187 ...etc

But if you wait until you graduate, you can do the registration process in one time and so you will be saving time, money, and headache.

I don't think you need 5 months before the exam. Three months is enough in most cases.
