Help regarding application for step1 exam

Can i apply for step1 exam, to take the slot through Notary, I'm in U.S now. Can't go all the way back to India to my med college just to get a sign on form. This new Notary option was introduced, I just wanna know if some one can confirm it here or if someone applied through notary.

Default Notary

U can get ur form 186 notorized frm any notary authority. IMGs in USA usually get their docs notorized from the bank (where they ve an account) or any bank as per their policies.
