Question Transfer of credit problem

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I'm applying for step 1.
I transferred from one medical school to another and on the application they want the transfer credits.
Here in Egypt, the transfer is in marks eg. Anatomy 200/250 etc...So how would i translate that to credits.
Either way, I'm going to attach a copy of the original and its translation. So can I leave out details online and depend on the papers I'm sending?
Thanks

You have to ask your new medical school for a transcript of credits that were transferred.

I don't think it would be acceptable for the ECFMG without mentioning exactly the credit units transferred.

I had my transcripts evaluated by WES (World Education Services) and now they have credits associated with the courses. I don't know if you looked into this...it costs ~ $200. A lot of schools (I just looked up mine, in Europe...which didn't have credits reported before...) started to associate credits with their courses. You can ask your school if they are doing this now....and then maybe you can use these credits and attach a copy to the file...
I would also send an e-mail to ECFMG and see what they suggest...they respond in ~ 2 weeks).
