Question Can I verify my documents before choosing an eligibility period??

Hi All,

I've read all the steps in the thread ECFMG Registration Steps, and thanks for the detailed explanation.

But i really still don't know when i'll apply for the exam, and in order to complete the online registration to be able to access the forms you need to choose an eligibility period.

Is there any way that i can send my documents and forms to ECFMG to be verified without choosing an eligibility period, or maybe before registering online??

N.B: I've already got my USMLE ID and password.

No you cannot. You have to choose an eligibility period in order to finish your online application and only then they'll start the verification process.

yes sabio is right..even if you will not fill second part of online application i.e form 186 & ll not send to ecfmg ,they will not review your credentials/transcripts, not verify any document bcoz i was also thinking same as you now but i called to ecfmg & they replied that you must have to fill all forms & send us then they will verify all documents.
