Help Editing information with ECFMG/186 FORM

I took step 1 a while back but now ECFMG have changed procedure so my old 186 was invalidated and according to new procedure i had to send my form 186 to my school.
Today i got call from my school about it. Now there are couple of things which i think i might have made a mistake. First was my Graduation and Degree issuance date were different but for both i filled the date i had on my degree. I called ECFMG and they said it is not a big deal if Degree issue date is accurate which fortunately is correct.
But another problem is that i transferred from one medical school to another in same country. I transferred after 1st year. But my degree does not say anything about it and neither my Academic transcript. My Academic transcript has my marks from all the years including first year and it does not say i transferred. So when filling info at ECFMG i did not specify this.
So what should i do? Should i tell School to just sign form 186 as it is and send to ECFMG? Or should i change my info with ECFMG , if thats even possible?
I`m now really worried because when i left school i was not given any document regarding transfer etc , so i thought it is not a problem. And thats why at ECFMG i showed that i attended my Graduation school from year 1. And my Academic transcript does not even say it either.

So friends please lemme know what should i do? SHould i convince my school to sign 186 just as it is or should i change things at ECFMG?

If your final medical school transcript does not mention the credit transfer then you don't need to mention it for ECFMG, otherwise, you'll get yourself into troubles.

As far as i know it does not.
It mentions my Major and that i was Full time enrolled.
Then it mentions Extract of the Register Roll year 2000
Then it mentions my Biographic infor

And then it has SCHOOL Report of the completed academic years starting with Year 1 (1999/2000) and so on for all other years.

Now year 1 (1999-2000) i did was in another school but it does not mention. So at form 186 i mentioned years attended at this school from year 1999 till i graduated.

Leave it as is. You are good to go.

>School should agree because that's what they mentioned in the transcript.
>You shouldn't have problems in verification because again that's what's mentioned in your transcript.

Oh Thanks a lot for the info and taking out time to reply.
This Ecfmg registeration process is pain in the a** and i`m in US while my school is in Europe so whole communication thing is tedious.

Now my 186 and my Credential verification is with school. School secretary handles all this and dean of my school has signed these both things. But now she is not posting the documents because she is saying that my year of enrollment is mentioned 1999 but i joined that school in 2000 from another school which as you know i did not mention with ECFMG. so she earlier agreed to proceed with 1999 only but now she said she is scared because of this and wants to mention 2000 as year of enrollment.

She told me that earlier secretary made mistakes by giving us students Final transcripts that do not mention our Transfer. but now they have instructions to provide new Transcripts with mention of transfer. So i told that i have already taken a exam with ECFMG by not mentioning my transfer and even paid for step 2 and i do not know if ECFMG will allow me to change all this information.

She said School can provide a letter of explanation to ECFMG. Now i`m so stuck in this hard situation and stressed out that i have no idea. that's why i thought to ask you to suggest what should i do? Please do respond.

If they are going to provide a letter of explanation to the ECFMG I don't think you will be in problem.

Just explain to the ECFMG the whole story and there should be no problem.
