Calendar Prometric Dates in December and January

Could anyone let me know whether I am able to take the test all year round or I have to avoid the period of mid December-mid January? How do I know any test centers available in the region (I am not in the US/Canada) at the time I want to take the Step 1?

Default No problem

After getting your scheduling permit from ECFMG.

Go to the Prometric USMLE Website here

Choose Step 1 Exam and then choose testing region and then pick a center.

Then you will be able to see which dates are available.

Most center do have dates available in December and January and there's no problem whatsoever in scheduling your dates in these months. I took my step 1 in December.
