Default Need urgent help from seniors.

Hi,
I am Dr. Sasidhar from India, I recently finished my medicine [ 2 months] I am planing to give my USMLE. I am unable to decide which step to give first.. I do not have any study partners for step 1 but I have a study partner for step 2 who has already given his step 1 [scored 96%] . Is a study partner necessary for step 1 or can I manage it myself ? Is there a problem in giving step 2 before step 1? I am unable to decide on these lines . I would appreciate any kind of help.

It's generally thought that taking Step 1 before Step 2 is more appropriate to know the details about this read this thread

If you don't have a Step 1 study partner then you can try posting in our
http://www.usmle-forums.com/usmle-st...tudy-partners/
And am sure you'll find someone to read with you.

The issue whether a study partner is needed or not is highly individual. Some people just can't read with any one else. Some people just can't read unless there's some one with them sharing the stress of the exam and discussing topics together.

Recently, the Internet has been a great place for Medical students to meet with each other crossing all boundaries and you are not restricted to your local community. So if you ask for an online partner in the forum that I mentioned above your chances of finding a partner is considerably higher.

Your question inspired me to start this thread and poll
Do we need a USMLE study partner?
