Question Publishing a research paper

Maybe this is not the best place to post my query, but since most students/doctors here probably went through this process (or are planning to), I hope some one can answer my query.

I am planning to submit a manuscript to a journal for publishing, but I dont know if I should put my supervisor as a co-author or not. I am the only author of the paper, the research idea was mine, I did all the research design, data collection and paper writing. As for my supervisor, we only met from time to time so she would see my progress, add minor ideas here and there and that was pretty much it from my supervisor's side.

So I dont know what is the right thing to do. Should I just mention my supervisor in the acknowledgements or put her as a co-author?

Opinions will be much appreciated. Thanks alot
