Question Essential Tremor; Can I make it to US residency!

Hi guys,
I am having essential tremor for a couple of years.. it runs in the family.. It becomes more prominent while under stress .. I was thinking what i should do at the interview- tell your interviewer beforehand?? will my problem be a hurdle after i get into residency??

Take treatment before the interview and also I guess it's fine if you tell the officer.

Similarly for residencies, you should get it under control with medicines otherwise it can be a problem during your interviews if it is obvious.

Seek treatment first before CS and interview. If symptoms does not respond to therapy, then I would definiately tell the CS supervisor and ther interviewers. During CS, also explain to your patients, assure them that this is a common condition and does not affect a doc's ability to take care of patients.
