Default Meditribe; Just another USMLE Prep Online recently launched an online USMLE preparation service to add to the pile of already available online qbanks!

The new website features a great idea which is questions submitted, edited, referenced, and annotated by crammers (they call their members crammers) themselves. Which could really work well because there's no a better person to write a USMLE question than the USMLE student. Although, this is not a completely new idea as we have seen it before in WikiTestPrep but this times it seems to be more organized.

The website also sports a variety of other services such as forums and news. Also there's a blog which seems to be yet inactive.

There are different levels of signing up ranging from free to $90 per month. I found the paid versions little awkward for a community-driven website!

However, my initial look at it was really satisfying as there will have personalized analysis of your performance and a freedom of step 1 or step 2 places to work on.

Question quality is further classified into basic and expert "premium" questions and it was difficult to see the differences between this strange distinction.

Online USMLE preparation is on the rise and Meditribe is just another avenue to the expanding arena and let's see whether it really evolve into a Kaplan's or UW's real competitor.
