Default will my relatives visa status help me?

i am going to start preparing for step 1...i understand its difficult to get visa these days...my mothers elder brother is a US citizen and a cardiologist there...also one of my fathers relatives is a green card holder....will these make my chances better in getting a visa?...how can i use it to my advantage,,,thanks i advance

These kind of things can work both ways. It all depends on your current status actually. If you are a student then you will face no problems but if you are a graduate then it gets tricky.

Also it is better not to mention them about your family unless it is essential. Because then they will consider you a potential immigrant unless proven otherwise.
