Default What is the general living cost in some cities?

Other than how much you have to pay for electives, what is the housing cost (for 1 person, rent for a month) and other general things like food/phone bills/travel etc..
If anyone has any experiences please share, I'm trying to save up!

Depends on lot of factors really. If you are talking about places like Iowa or other midwest states where cost of living is a little less it could be anywhere between 1000-1500 for a month (depending how u spend on housing of course) but north east places like boston or new york tend be a lot more costlier due to higher cost of living.
