Smile Sitting on my ass all day and seeing my waist size increase. Need exercise tips.

Dear IMGs (who are inferior to the AMGs and hence sit on their ass for > 6 months for step 1),

I need help. How do you manage exercise time in your study schedule?

Whenever I think about exercising I get very guilty about the time I will be losing by not studying (esp. since am in the last 3 months of the prep). I get migraine from trying to listen to Goljan while trying to exercise (I applaud everyone who listens to Goljan and drives/exercises), so that is not an option.

My waist size is increasing and my self esteem is crashing. Please share your strategies.

Thank you!

Hahaha
Same problem. Just waiting to finish step 1. Then will hit at least morning jogging and gym after step 2.

LOL WE all have that same problem. And btw nobody is inferior to anybody, its just a different way of being taught and a different system everywhere else than here
But I agree with sruthi- a healthy mind needs a healthy body. It does help to jog for even as little as 20 mins or fast walking or just go walk after dinner! lol Get some exercise, or do yoga, whatever suits you. I notice the days i go to the gym for 30 mins I am more awake and alert and maybe even go faster. But be careful to not over work yourself to the point of being tired after. And if your not used to working out, start slow with baby steps
And cut down on eating big meals (i need to implement this as well).. It helps to avoid food coma and keep the weight in check.

And dont feel bad to take out 20-30 mins for yourself, its a good mental break!! And we alll need that atleast once a day
