Australian boards are really tough and many of Australian grads are not able to clear boards for many years after residency, but entering Australian system is not that tough. For Plab if you are out of Europe (eg IMG from Asia or Africa) you will have really hard time to get in..
USMLE...there is lot of noise that system is closing by 2015 for IMGs (check the links in IMG matching column of this forum).
