I am IMG and I recently came to know about the PTAL to get a residency in the US, and also that my med school is not recognized by the Medical Board of California, can anyone tell me if its possible to get the school recognized, if so whats the procedure.

Your medical school should contact the Medical Board of California to try to get listed.

You can work in all other states, it's just California that you cannot work. California is very difficult for the IMGs anyway.
