Question Publication in an unindexed journal

Hello everyone,

I know that research publications are an important addition to a candidate's CV, but what if a candidate has an article published in an as-yet unindexed journal? Does it still count as having a publication?

Also, what about research articles that are not published? Do those count too??

Thanks in advance for any help

Does it count as a publication?
A: Yes.

Would it be as strong as an indexed journal publication?
A: No.
