Info Is it difficult to get paid research for IMG?

Is it difficult to get paid research for IMG in US? Also on average how much do you get paid?

Research assistant salary ranges from $15K to $40K per year (full time job).

tHANKS, what are the usual requirements for paid research? Should I have taken my USMLE steps and be ECFMG certified?

There is no set requirements, every institute has different requirements.

I would say being ECFMG certified will make your chances less! Yes, because they'll say "Oh, this guy is not serious about working in research and he'll soon leave us for residency".
