Question Research by an Intern!

I have a question about doing a research in general
I am an intern and i am doing a research by myself without any help from any attendant. So I am the only author. Can I publish it in a peer reviewed journal?
in other words can an intern or resident publish an article in a peer reviewed journal?

Yes. Definitely.

Many publications are single-authored.

But, you should expect lots of scrutiny from the editors as they usually very skeptical when a young doctor send them a single-authored publication.
