Unhappy graduated on 2005

I'm in a deep chaos. I think that I'm quitting. I graduated from Egypt on 2005 and worked there till 2009 where i came here to the states on late 2009. Last March i applied for CS but unfortunately i didn't pass. My question here is that: if i finished all the steps by the end of 2014, will i still have a chance to get residency. FYI i got the US citizenship recently. Thank you and i really appreciate your reply.

Man, you have to be proactive!

Things are bad for you since you have an attempt and you are an old graduate. But certainly you can improve your cv with some usce, publications, high score on step 3 and ecfmg certification. Send an email to some professor in an area that you like so you can see what kind of opportunities you may have and study for CS!

The fact that you have us citizen will open lots of doors to you.
