Default Is or when is TOEFL required for USMLE?

Hi, everyone,
I'm bulgarian medical student and do I have to take TOEFL before USMLE Step1 or do I have to take it at all? Thanks

TOEFL is not required to take the USMLE or get the ECFMG certificate. Your language skills are evaluated with the USMLE 2CS, which is a practical exam.
However TOEFL is a requirement in you enroll in a test preparing program like Kaplan, or if you are interested in do other kind of postgrade training like a MPH

And what about if I continue my post graduation(specialization) in USA? Then do I have to pass TOEFL?
