Question Student or Graduate??

I am planning to take my Step-1 exam in second week of june. I am applying as a student. I am in Internship (final) year of my med school. I will be completing internship by june 3rd. And I will be getting my diploma by july 1st week. So if I take the exam in this period, will I be considered as student or graduate??

If your exam date is before the date written on your diploma then you are considered a student.
