Talking Baby boom crises and acute doctor shortage in US

I recently read somewhere that due to baby boom crises which happened in the post world war era, there is going to be an acute shortage of doctors in America.
Will it favor IMGs?

absolutely not... In all honesty...

Because there is more people to care,,,, doesn't mean the US is going to decrease their standard of care for all those people.. There making more medical schools in the united states currently for the past few years now which only means more US trained doctors will enter the workforce...

If there is going to be a huge increase in patients, it means that there going to have to raise the standards since doctors are going to be swamped and will need to decrease the amount of mistakes as much as possible.

Plus... this may seem very very bad to say... But old people are not rich people, most of them cant even afford there health care... i mean, look at what the united states people are going through right now... 65 year olds still have to go to work just to have some sort of health insurance coverage.
