Calendar Scheduling a date before or within eligibility period?

Do we need to schedule a test before the start of the eligibility period? or we can schedule it in the last month of the eligibility period?

Default Yes you can, but be careful

You can schedule it during the last month of your eligibility period. But remember that Prometric seats are usually fully booked one or two months ahead, so if you wait until that time, you may not find a date in your eligibility period and in that case you have to extend you eligibility period (if you have not done so already).

I suggest, you book a date early on. If the date becomes closer and you feel that you are not yet ready then you can push it further later.

Also, in my opinion, choosing a specific date 3 months ahead will allow better planning of your prep plan, otherwise, you'll keep procrastinating

And if I am not ready to take the exam within the three month period. And I am in the 1st month of them and have not scheduled a date. Can I reschedule for the next three months. And how much would I have to pay?

Thanks

As far as I understand, your question is exactly like the question posted by struggle, so the answer is Yes.
Frees is $65 has to be paid to ECFMG.
