Hi!
Each fellowship prog will have different requirements. You will have to contact the program co-ordinator for the details.
As for the time required. . . taking all the steps of usmle and acquiring the ecfmg certificate will take anywhere between 1-2 years depending on your prep. ( Application for exams and verification of credentials takes 2-3 months. Even if you manage to give the exams in 8-10 months, all three steps, it will still take close to a year, and this is an optimum timeline, usually takes more time. )
Again this is not to discourage you, but to give you a clear idea of the time required.

Thanks Ninad.. You misunderstood about the time I asked.. I'm asking how much it takes from "applying to different fellowship" to "beginning of the fellowship rotation" (after being ECFMG certified). When do they usually take Interviews? I have one more question? Can I apply during my residency (in India) or I've to wait for my degree and then apply?
