Listening Take step1 and step 2 very closely?

HI,

I am a mommy with 2 kids and a full-time job. I have been preparing step 1 for a year, and right now can get 60% correction rate in pretest. I originally plan to take step 1 in Oct. or Nov. and then take step 2 in May and July, but ECFMG just informed me that my medical school missed one document, so that my medical school credential verification has not been completed. Therefore, it may take another 6 months to wait for the permit. Is there anyone has the experience of taking step 1 and step 2 very closely, say 3 months interval? Is it realistic to do this? Thanks,

Soso

Missing one document shouldn't take another six months! Also you still have four months until December and hopefully your registration should be completed by then.

As far as taking Step 1 and CK closely, it's perfectly OK, in fact, it's a good idea because lots of CK info is related to Step 1.
