Default Applying after finishing Military service , advice needed plz !!

Im a 2011 graduate , img need visa

finished my step 2 ck with score 90 / 212 on 8/3/2011
and gave step 1 on 11/10/2011 ( hope it to be high:sorry: )

unfortunately i have to do some kind of obligatory military service in my country b4 they will allow me to travel out , it will end 31 dec 2013

so i will apply in 2015 , i wanna know am i gonna be an old graduate by that time ?

also i will be able to choose bet :

1- to be a resident in one of the military hospitals ?
2- to be a part of the peace preservation forces as a medic ?

im confused which one is better for the cv , i mean will the second option be regarded as a social service ?????

and thanks

You can't join any division of US Armed forces if you are not a Permanent Resident / Citizen in any capacity.

So the answer to both your questions is no.

If by "peace preservation forces" you meant something like NATO, then the requirements will be different (check their websites).

thx patelMD for ur answer , though i think i didnt clarify well

i dont want to apply for a military hospital in USA , i meant that in my

country here (EGYPT) males are required to finish some military service

before starting their own career and only after it i can get my passport to

work again ,

im my country's army here i can choose to be a part of the peace

preservation forces for 2 - 3 months or something, is it worthy of doing it ? i

mean i know in USA they love social services or volunteer work anywhere

esp if its related to ur job or should i just stick to residency in one of the

military hospitals here in my country to avoid gaps in the cv ?

ah by the way ( Peace preservation forces ) they are a part of the ( UN )
taking orders from the ( security council ) and my country is a part of it .

and thx again
