Help Do I stand a chance at my age?

I am a 41 years old OB/GYN in Brazil and plan to spend the next three years preparing myself to take steps 1 and 2. According to my estimations, I’ll be ready to match in 2019.
The idea is to stay in Brazil studding while working in a part-time OB/GYN position here in order to not have any gap in my practice until the match.
My senior year was 1998. I joined in 1999 the Universidade Federal do Amazonas OB/GYN residence program, having concluded it in 2001 – Back then, the duration of the OB/GYN Residency Programs was just two years in Brazil. I am board certificated in Brazil and have since, exercised my specialty uninterruptedly.
Actually, I am an U.S. Passport holder in view of the fact that I was born overseas to a parent who was an U.S. citizen.
Naturally, I would like to acquire in my area of interest, some medical experience in the United States before the 2019 Match.
However, I do not know what scores I should achieve in steps 1 and 2 to make this adventure comfortably possible.
Honestly, I wonder if even getting a good score would be enough to prevent my application from been broken down by the Program Directors given my age and time since graduation.
I look forward your advice on this matter.

As you know, many programs have the 5 years of graduation "rule" for IMGs, but not all of them. Excellent scores "close to perfect" are a must for you, as well as getting some USCE, and of course apply broadly when the time comes, as many programs as you can afford. The true is that you never know and you may find the program that is the best fit for you
