Default Help Please !!!!!!!

Hello everyone .I have been reading your valuable posts and I thought I would bring up my problem to see if anyone could help . My step 1 application was rejected because my graduation date is prior to ECFMG approving my school . I do not want to give up .Any idea on what I should do ? I would appreciate any advice because for now I don't have any clue on what should be my next move .Thanks in advance

Betsy

contact ecfmg. send them a long detailed letter explaining your situation. if you graduated a medical school and it is accredited they will allow for exemption and clear you

no i did not have that issue but i know lot of older applicants with 10 year + grad dates who have contacted ecfmg and made a case for themselves. it is always worth a shot since u have come so far already. best of luck.

that is good news at least they have acknowledged and now they will follow up. i would also collect all documents from medical school like transcripts and all to submit as evidence for completion as well as degree for proof.

i am studying for step 3 now. wish u luck as well!

ok good job. after every few weeks I would contact asking for status. hopefully they receive all the paperwork and can collect into one file for review. even if they give trouble or reject you can appeal as i have friends who faced same situations.
